Megaport Expands US Footprint within DataBank Data Centers in Denver and Chicago

Expanded Megaport Footprint Gives DataBank Customers Private Access to Cloud Service Providers

Dallas, TX – June 21, 2024 – DataBank, a leading provider of enterprise-class colocation, connectivity, and managed services, announced today that it has expanded its growth with Megaport, a leading network-as-a-service provider, to now offer Megaport services in its Denver (DEN2) and Chicago (ORD4) data center markets. As a benefit of DataBank’s Centennial Campus, customers in DEN5, DataBank’s newest data center in the market, can capitalize on the Megaport expansion by using Campus Cross Connects to reach their point of presence in DEN2.

New customers in DataBank’s DEN5 will be able to utilize carriers and service providers, like Megaport, already deployed at DataBank’s DEN2. This eliminates long provisioning lead times. Data center campuses provide customers with immediate access to these services offered by carriers and service providers, as it takes only a cross connect to reach them.
